How It Works
The Sohigh SP-325M converts sunlight into electricity through the photovoltaic effect within its monocrystalline silicon cells. When photons strike the cell surface, they excite electrons to create a flow of direct current electricity. This current is then captured by the conductive grid and sent to the inverter for conversion to usable power. The advanced PERC layer increases the efficiency of this process by reflecting unused light back into the cell. This reflection mechanism allows the cell to absorb more energy from the same amount of sunlight. The 144 half-cell design reduces internal resistance and improves overall module performance significantly.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the silicon cells and release electrons to generate electrical current. This process initiates the energy conversion cycle immediately.
