About Siemens

Siemens built its name in the panel, and the gear in this collection is the field side of that reputation: general-duty AC disconnects rated for the 240V circuits that run condensers, mini-splits, pumps, and inverter AC outputs.

The GNF221RA is a 30A, 2-pole, 240V non-fused disconnect — the box an inspector wants to see within sight of the outdoor unit. The GF222NRA steps up to 60A in the same format. Both are non-fused, which is what most residential AC and heat-pump circuits call for when the breaker upstream already provides overcurrent protection. Pull the handle, the line side is dead, the tech works safe.

We've swapped enough melted bargain disconnects to be blunt: contact quality and the enclosure are what you're paying for, and a failed disconnect fails on the hottest day of the year. Match the amp rating to the equipment nameplate MCA, not to the breaker, and confirm whether the unit spec calls for fused or non-fused before you order.

Disconnects and Siemens power-distribution gear — the catalog carries the line.
