The RALOS RLS-480–AC 480W N-Type HJT bifacial AC solar panel is engineered for high energy yield and long term reliability in modern rooftop systems. This all black module uses a 210 mm wafer platform and N-Type bifacial HJT half cut cells for excellent conversion efficiency and low degradation. A robust glass on glass construction is used on the front and rear to enhance durability, weather resistance, and long term optical performance. A factory integrated HMS–500 microinverter converts DC power to grid ready AC directly at the module level. This integrated design reduces balance of system complexity and can simplify installation for residential or small commercial projects. With premium materials, strengthened mechanical load ratings, and an industry leading performance guarantee, this panel is designed to deliver dependable output across decades of operation.

Key Benefits

How It Works

This AC solar panel converts sunlight into usable alternating current power directly at the module level. The front and rear glass surfaces admit light to the N-Type bifacial HJT half cut cells, which generate direct current as photons are absorbed. The cell matrix is optimized around a 210 mm wafer platform to achieve high current output and stable performance across a wide range of irradiance conditions. Generated DC is immediately processed by the factory mounted HMS–500 microinverter attached to the module. This microinverter tracks the optimal power point of the module and converts DC into grid compliant 230 V AC power. The AC output can then be connected into an appropriate branch circuit and distribution panel through standard AC connectors and cabling. Thermal behavior and degradation are controlled through careful material selection and design, supporting efficient performance over the stated service life.

Bifacial N-Type HJT cell operation: The module uses N-Type heterojunction technology cells arranged in a half cut configuration. Light entering from both sides is converted into current, and the bifaciality of approximately 90 percent helps boost rear side contribution. Lower temperature coefficients reduce power loss as cell temperature rises during sunny conditions.

Module level DC to AC conversion: The integrated HMS–500 microinverter manages the electrical behavior of each panel individually. It maintains operation at the maximum power point using a nominal MPPT efficiency of 99.8 percent for high energy capture. The inverter then outputs up to 500 VA at 230 V and 50 Hz with low total harmonic distortion.

System integration and safety features: Because AC is provided at the module, string design is simplified and high DC voltages on the roof are avoided. Junction boxes and connectors are rated for outdoor operation and follow recognized standards. Fire Class A construction and improved mechanical load capability support safe, durable performance in real world installations.
