The ABi-Solar AB340-72P converts sunlight into usable electricity through the photovoltaic effect. Sunlight particles strike the 72 polycrystalline silicon cells within the panel. This interaction excites electrons, creating a flow of direct current electricity. The anti-reflection coating ensures maximum light penetration into the cell structure. The tempered glass protects the cells while allowing light to pass through efficiently. Internal wiring connects the cells in series to increase voltage output. The junction box collects this current for transmission to the inverter or battery system. Bypass diodes within the junction box prevent power loss during partial shading. This design maintains high efficiency even when some cells receive less sunlight. The anodized aluminum frame provides structural support and grounding. Heat dissipation is managed through the cell design and glass properties. The system operates optimally at a nominal cell temperature of 45±2 °C. This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
