Financing & payment terms
PES accepts wire, ACH, and net-30 for approved contractors. Kits over $50k qualify for freight-inclusive project pricing and 25/25/50 milestone payments (deposit, ready-to-ship, delivery). The Federal ITC (30%) is claimed by the end owner in the year of PTO; commercial installs also qualify for 5-year MACRS accelerated depreciation. Consult your CPA — PES does not provide tax advice.
Is this a three-phase system?
Yes — the 20–30 kW commercial kits ship with a 208 V or 480 V three-phase inverter and can be specified for either service voltage at order time.
Does this qualify for the Federal ITC and depreciation?
Yes — commercial solar installed under 179 tax basis qualifies for the 30% Federal Investment Tax Credit and 5-year MACRS accelerated depreciation. Consult your CPA for eligibility.
What is the demand-charge reduction?
A properly sized 30 kW kit typically shaves 15–25% off summer peak demand charges by producing during weekday peak hours. Battery add-on can push that to 35–45%.
Does the kit include rapid shutdown for commercial roofs?
Yes — MLPE-level shutdown per NEC 690.12(B)(2), including commercial-roof requirements.
