Hybrid string inverter
14 kW pure sine inverter with built-in MPPT tracking, AC/DC combiner, and 10-year manufacturer warranty. Rapid shutdown per NEC 690.12.
Racking & mounting
Complete roof-mount rails, ground-mount piers, or ballast trays sized per project. Aluminum + stainless hardware, 25-year corrosion warranty.
Battery storage
11 kWh LFP lithium-iron-phosphate battery bank, wall-mount or floor-mount. 10-year warranty, 6,000-cycle rating.

Financing & payment terms
PES accepts wire, ACH, and net-30 for approved contractors. Kits over $50k qualify for freight-inclusive project pricing and 25/25/50 milestone payments (deposit, ready-to-ship, delivery). The Federal ITC (30%) is claimed by the end owner in the year of PTO; commercial installs also qualify for 5-year MACRS accelerated depreciation. Consult your CPA — PES does not provide tax advice.
How much backup runtime does a 15 kW kit give me?
At 20–30 kWh of usable battery, essential loads (fridge, lights, well pump, comms) typically run 24–48 hours before daytime solar recharge. Whole-home critical loads can run 8–14 hours.
Do I need a critical-loads subpanel?
Yes — for cost-effective backup, the essential-load subpanel is separated from the main service panel so the battery only backs up what matters. PES kits ship with the required transfer/interconnect hardware.
Is this an off-grid kit?
No — this is a grid-tied hybrid. It syncs with the grid when available and islanded from it during outages. A true off-grid variant is available on request.
What is the payback period?
